CAT A & CAT A+

A CAT A fit out refers to the ‘shell and core’ work generally implemented by a landlord to provide a space that is finished to a basic standard of lights, electricity, water and services. From there the space is ready to be refurbished to suit any prospective tenant.

A CAT A+ then, put simply, it’s a happy middle ground between the a CAT A and a CAT B fit out. Predominantly commissioned by landlords, it provides a fully functioning office space ready for immediate occupation, just minus the personalised elements. The space is Plug & Play ready to go, meaning all the necessary provisions are already in place for a business to move in and start working straight away.
