A spectacular new-build workspace that encapsulates the Jellyfish culture and values
Taking 30,000 sq ft within the brand new mixed-use development of Harbor Point, Global Digital Marketing Agency, Jellyfish’s new Baltimore office blends modern design with exposed industrial features, providing a spectacular workplace setting in a prime location.
As Jellyfish’s international design partner, we were fortunate to have involvement with the developers from an extremely early stage in the process. This meant we could work with the architects to tweak the base build of the floor plate during the construction phase of the development to suit the new Jellyfish floor plan.
With floor to ceiling windows offering fabulous views over the surrounding wharfs, Jellyfish’s flexible training suite is open and flooded with light.
Maximising the reach of natural light was key to the design and was achieved through the application of glazed partitions and customizable modular zone dividers. The installation of grid style palisades throughout provides effective zoning whilst allowing light to filter through the open plan space.
Harsh base build materials, such as the concrete floor and exposed ductwork, are softened by introducing a mixture of natural materials, coloured fabrics and textures, creating the industrial yet laid back finish that Jellyfish were keen to achieve.
The open plan floor plate harbours a relaxed atmosphere, with bright and airy work areas complemented by collaboration spaces and informal meeting facilities throughout.
The breakout areas reflect the work hard play hard attitude of the Jellyfish team, with the central pantry supplemented by soft seating and bar style games.
